Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package of refrigerated biscuits
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and add the mushrooms. Let this simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the mixed vegetables and season everything with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the meat and vegetable mixture to a greased baking dish, and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cut the biscuits in half and arrange them over the cheese.
  7. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. It can also be frozen for up to three months.
