- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the orange juice, orange zest, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, and honey until well combined.
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and toss them in the marinade. Allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through until the chicken is cooked through and slightly crispy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
- Serve the orange chicken over a bed of cooked rice.
Notes
For a spicy twist, add sriracha or red pepper flakes to the marinade. Best served with fluffy rice and steamed vegetables.
