Instructions
- Slice the dill pickles into your desired shape—spears or rounds.
- In a bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, salt, and pepper to make the coating.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
- Dip each pickle slice first into the eggs, then coat with the cornmeal mixture, and finish by rolling them in breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray and lay out the coated pickles in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the tops of the pickles with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
