- Dill pickles – Sliced into chips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs – Regular or panko
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Slice the dill pickles into chips.
- Set up a breading station: Mix flour with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in one bowl, buttermilk in a second bowl, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each pickle chip by dipping it in the flour mixture, then in the buttermilk, and lastly into the breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil. Arrange the breaded pickles in a single layer.
- Lightly spray the pickle slices with olive oil and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra crunch, double coat the pickles and experiment with different spices to customize their flavor.
