Ingredients
- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Mozzarella cheese slices
- Pepperoni slices
- Olive oil
- Italian seasoning
- Pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough and cut it into circles.
- Take each dough circle and place a slice of mozzarella and a few pepperoni slices on one half.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, sealing the edges by pressing them down securely.
- Brush the tops of each calzone with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Place the calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
- Serve hot with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
Seal the edges well to prevent filling leakage. For extra crunch, pre-cook pepperoni slices slightly before adding.
