Description

Delicious Air Fryer Calzones filled with mozzarella and pepperoni, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or game-day snack.


Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Mozzarella cheese slices
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Olive oil
  • Italian seasoning
  • Pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough and cut it into circles.
  3. Take each dough circle and place a slice of mozzarella and a few pepperoni slices on one half.
  4. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, sealing the edges by pressing them down securely.
  5. Brush the tops of each calzone with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Place the calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

Seal the edges well to prevent filling leakage. For extra crunch, pre-cook pepperoni slices slightly before adding.
