- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz) jar salsa
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the lean ground beef until there’s no pink left. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning until well combined.
- Spread the softened cream cheese evenly across the bottom of a pie dish.
- Pour the salsa over the cream cheese.
- Spoon the seasoned beef over the salsa layer.
- Finish by sprinkling the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Try serving with crispy tortilla chips or fresh vegetable sticks. Add a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor.
